R&D is where innovation is shaped and achieved, and it is a resource that each of our companies can rely on.
R&D operates based on projects and it perform the job in three phases:
- It acquires the specification and performance targets and it defines the necessary requirements regarding of raw materials and intermediates, together with the process conditions;
- It determines the factors that allow it to produce in a sustainable and competitive way;
- It inspects application performance and monitors the project until the product is approved by the customer
At ERCA we also work closely with qualified external laboratories and academic institutions so to have a comprehensive view of the issue not necessarily related to the industrial process.
