Erca Emery Surfactant has agreed to sell its large scale Alkoxylation unit in Moerdijk (NL) to the Chemical Group Solvay.
The closing is expecting by the mid of April, pending all customary approvals.
"ERCA will continue its Alkoxylation activities for Specialties in Grassobbio, Italy," said Giuseppe Seccomandi CEO of Erca Group. "At the same time, ERCA has entered an offtake Agreement with Solvay to buy goods on a regional basis and use the plant capacities in Moerdijk and Singapore. The Agreement is meant to be an incentive to secure and sustain new businesses and contracts of considerable volumes".
